Dobogó Winery

Located on a triangular plot in downtown Tokaj, the manor house and winery, owned by Izabella Zwack, was built by joining a couple of dilapidated buildings with underground cellars. The cellar, which is full of fine Aszú wines, and the manor house have an intimate relationship with the surrounding foliage. The main part of the building, which can be walked around, blends perfectly into the scale of the environment. By successfully averting the threat of demolition, the living tissue of the settlement was healed.
