The winery is located on the outskirts of Tarcal, on a plot of land previously used for industrial purposes. The building in the centre of the site can be accessed through the main entrance from the main road or a service gate from the side road leading to the row of wine cellars.

The structure is dominated by the curved ridge roof that rises from the entrance and opens up into terraces facing the Tokaj Mountain. The arched design provides bay-like protection to the main entrance, while the wine tasting room and the terraces are covered by a roof that extends from the rising ridge much like a protective wing. Bordered by a stone retaining wall, the hillside that seems to creep under the roof is intended to strengthen this effect. The line of the stonewall continues on the house, further reinforcing the idea of organic unity between the building and the ground.

The roof covering the service entrance and the grape processing unit is connected to the main roof ridge from the north, marking the spot that gives rise to the iconic gabled mass of the tank fermenter. Even though the house has a fresh and energetic look, it still looks familiar, because it is built from traditional local materials, such as tuff stone, plastered brick, beaver tail tiles and wooden carpentry.
